The aim of our event is to practice performing music, whether it is a cover or an original, English or otherwise, and we welcome all instruments, styles, genres and ability. It is also a great opportunity to meet other amateur musicians to collaborate.

If you enjoy live music and want to come and listen, you are also very welcome.

So that we can get through all of the attendees in the session, we’ll start with one song per performer. If there is extra time at the end we can welcome additional songs. Collaborations only count towards one of the performer’s allocation, i.e a duo can perform two songs. Each performance is allocated 5min max and that includes set up time. We ask that loopers perform towards the end of the event to ensure the smooth running of the day. Please ensure your instruments are tuned well before you are due to perform.

We are very fortunate to be supported by Aaiotanga Community Space, so please be respectful of the space to allow us to continue hosting events at this venue. Please consider making a contribution to their donation box on the day or bank transferring to Aaiotanga Peace Place Charitable Trust 38 9020 0859593 00 (‘music’ in the reference).

We may take photos on the day for promoting the event and venue on our Instagram page. Please let us know if you do not want your photo to be taken or used.

2:10pm - start the live music :)
4:45pm - end of performances.
