Mix of Rail Trail and Roads - Jordan Creek, D & L, IRT

Details

Hello CAT Riders,

Ride is just shy of 28mi with 1200 ft of elevation. It utilizes the IRT, D&L, JCG and a mix of roads. Mostly paved trails and road with exception to the Jordan Creek Greenway and D&L which is dirt/gravel terrain.

Starting at the Jordan Creek Park on the Jordan Creek Greenway (JCG). Ride the greenway and some roads over to the D&L. Take D&L north to meet up with the Ironton Rail Trail (IT). After The IRT, take a series of roads to link back to JCG.

Ride begins in Whitehall township, riding to Catasauqua, swinging over to Egypt, Schnecksville, Kernsviille and back to the Jordan Creek Greenway.

The route includes a stop at Rita's @ mi 20. Yippee!

While a HUGE portion of the ride is trail, we thought it would be 'Fun" to include a couple Hills. Hill'Ya!

All are welcome. Please share with friends. All are welcome at all CAT bike rides, classes, and events.
