CAT- Over the Hill Hellertown bagels ride

Hi all you Over the Hill riders, let's take advantage of this lovely weather and ride this Monday, September 15. Our launch time is 10 a.m.; ride leaders Tim and Anne be there a bit ahead of time in the event any of you need help with any minor adjustments, like airing up your tires or adjusting your seats. (If your bike needs more serious attention, consider a trip ahead of time at the CAT bike co-op. ).

We'll meet at the start of the southside Bethlehem Greenway, which you will find here near the intersection of S. New and Mechanic Streets.

Total round trip mileage is 10 miles. The route will take us along the length of the Greenway, through Saucon Park, and along some mostly quiet back roads, into Hellertown. We'll take a rest stop at the bagel shop in Hellertown. Sure, there are a few hills, but nothing to write home about. You'll find details of the route here. While not a hard requirement, your signing up as an attendee on Meetup lets us know when our riding crew is all gathered and ready to roll.

Our Over the Hill rides are intended for people who are free during the day; though many regulars are retired, we welcome riders of all ages. Please feel free to pass this invite on to your friends. The route is fairly tame, all kinds of bikes are appropriate. Riders of all skill levels are welcome.

As with all CAT rides, riders must wear a helmet. In addition, you may want to bring some water and a spare tube that matches your wheel.
