OCTOBER 5 EASY LIKE SUNDAY MORNING
Hey all - Here's another easy, flat and short ride, tailored for those of you new to or recently returning to cycling, though riders of all levels are welcome. Dust off that bike, bring some friends along, and join us this Sunday, October 5. We'll go at a pace that suits the slowest among us - no one will get dropped on this ride.

We'll start riding at 10 a.m., but feel free to come a little early if you need air in your tires or any other minor adjustments to your bike.

This week's ride is almost entirely on trails, as we take South Bethlehem's Greenway from its beginning to end, do a quick jaunt down a side street to check out the lovely WPA-era Saucon Park, and return to the start of our ride at S. New and Mechanic Streets. Our start and end point is here ; for those of you who need it, you'll find plenty of parking in the city garage across the street from our start point, or on Mechanic or New Streets.

The total mileage for this ride is 5.4 miles, a little over two and a half miles each way, and the route is really flat, no kidding. See the details here. Most all bikes are appropriate for this ride, as the trails are a mix of paved and unpaved surfaces. The ride leaders will point out any particular conditions or hazards that may call for your attention, as we go along.

This ride is weather permitting. Any last minute change or cancellations will be announced on Meetup, so please check there for weather concerns. If you have any other questions we can help with, please contact ride leader Anne (annef@lvcat.org). We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.!
