EASY Sunday Afternoon ride
Details
EASY, SHORT and well-fed Sunday afternoon ride
Hey everyone - This Sunday we'll be doing an easy ride in Bethlehem from the Rose Garden on the west side of town (starting/ending point here) along mostly quiet neighborhood streets to the downtown pastry/coffee shop Paris Baguette, where we'll stop for refreshments, then head back to the Rose Garden.
You can find the entire route here.
This ride is intended for beginners, or those who haven't been on their bikes in a while, though all are welcome. It is only a little over two miles IN TOTAL, entirely on paved roads, and as flat as we could make it. Although we will be on city streets throughout, we will ride as a group, with ride leaders up front and in the rear. As with all CAT rides, no one will be dropped and we'll go at a beginner's pace. We mean that. If at any point, you find conditions too much, it's always okay to stop and walk until you are able to ride again -- this is truly a beginner's ride.
The ride is weather permitting. Any last minute change or cancellations will be announced on Meetup, so please check there for weather concerns.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please contact ride leaders Anne (annef@lvcat.org) or Sissy (sissy@lvcat.org). We look forward to seeing you this Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.!
