Hi everyone - Let's get in one more CAT ride before the year is out! This Sunday, December 21, is the winter solstice, and the weather looks pretty mild -- great conditions for our annual holiday lights ride!

We'll be leaving at 5:30 p.m. from the NEW CAT LOCATION at 33 West Walnut Street in Bethlehem. (Note that our new place isn't yet open, so we'll meet on the sidewalk in front.) We'll take a mild, meandering route on mostly quiet roads in Bethlehem to enjoy the holiday lights. Our estimated mileage will be under 10 miles, and we'll do our best to keep the route as flat as Pennsylvania permits.

If you;re not comfortable riding on the roads remember that you are much safer riding with a group than alone; and our experienced ride leaders pay attention to keeping us on smaller and less traveled roads whenever possible.

Lights are required on this ride, as we'll be traveling in the dark. Though predicted temps for Sunday evening are moderate for this time of year, it's still December -- you'll be most comfortable if you dress in layers, and focus on keeping you hands and feet warm.

This ride is weather permitting. Any last minute change or cancellations will be announced on Meetup, so please check there for weather concerns. If you have any other questions we can help with, please contact ride leader Anne (annef@lvcat.org).

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.!
