Spring Warm Up Ride
Details
Come and join us for our Spring Warm Up rides, Tuesday evenings through the end of April. ALL ARE WELCOME. This week we are getting to some minor hill challenges, though our mileage remains relatively low.
This week's route will take us from Bethlehem to Hellertown and the start of the Saucon Rail Trail, via the Greenway and lightly traveled back roads, and back to Bethlehem. We are including a few hills, though don't let that dissaude you... we don't care how slowly you go, or even if you walk.
We'll start gathering around 5:30 p.m., with a start time of 6 p.m.. Come early if you need air in your tires, a seat adjustment, a spot of lube, or any other quick adjustment.
We'll meet at the start of the Greenway, at the intersection of S. New and Mechanic Streets. Our total mileage is a smidge over 10 miles. Here is the route, if you'd like to check it out: [ https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54715700](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54715700). Note that in addition to the Greenway, we'll also go a short distance on the Saucon Rail Trail.
Like most all CAT rides, no one will be dropped -- even if you are riding very slowly, you are welcome on this ride! All riders are required to wear a helmet. We advise that you also bring a spare tube that fits your wheel and a bottle of water.
This ride is weather permitting. Any last minute change or cancellations will be announced on Meetup, so please check here for weather concerns. If you have any other questions we can help with, please contact ride leader Anne (annef@lvcat.org) or Don (donk@lvcat.org). We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday evening!
