OVER THE HILL

CAT's Over the HIll rides are intended for anyone who is available to ride during the day.

Join us Wednesday May 20 for a mellow Over the Hill road ride through Bethlehem, East Allentown and up the Lehigh River to Catty's funkiest coffee house, Blocker's.

We’ll meet at 10 am at the CAT office at 33 W. Walnut Street in downtown Bethlehem and ride a total of 14 miles, 7 miles each way. It’s a paved route, on small roads wherever possible, with a few mild hills. You can see the route here. Even if you are not generally comfortable sharing the road with cars, you might consider joining this ride, as you are extremely visible when riding as part of a group, our ride leaders do their best to model ideal road position for all riders' safety, and usually our route is fairly quiet, as we're traveling in the middle of the day.

We'll ride the 7 miles to Blocker's, take a generous break for some refreshments, and then head back to Bethlehem.

As with most CAT rides, no one will be dropped. No matter your pace and whatever your fitness level, you are welcome on this ride. We're much more interested in enjoying the ride than in getting to where we're going as quickly as possible.

This ride is weather permitting; please check here at Meetup for any changes or cancellations.
