We are getting the Oakland Coastal Winds Windsurfing Social Club together for an informal afternoon by the water. This is a chance for those of us in the Catch The Wind community to skip the gear talk and just enjoy some time outdoors with folks who share a love for the sport. Whether you have been windsurfing for years or are just starting to find your sea legs, the goal here is to connect with others in the area, share a few stories, and get to know the people behind the boards.
We will be meeting at the usual spot in Oakland to relax and chat about our recent sessions on the water. Please keep in mind that this is primarily a social gathering to build our local network rather than an instructional clinic, though there is always plenty of collective knowledge to go around. If you are looking for a low-pressure way to meet some new friends who spend their weekends out on the bay, we would love to have you join us.
