This is our first-ever November biking event in recent memory! Join us as we test November’s crisp air and take in autumn’s full glory on a familiar favorite to many: The Boston-to-Sutersville segment of the Youghiogheny River Trail. This all-flat, crushed limestone-surfaced, 10-mile local segment of the Great Allegheny Passage takes us from the Boston Bridge to Sutersville and back, completing an almost 21-mile round trip along the Yough’s meandering path. Naturally, we will stop for ice cream treats at our destination and turn-around point, The Big Twist (formerly Yough Twister) at Sutersville before heading back toward Boston. Afterward, we will visit a local dining spot to talk about our ride over a leisurely lunch/dinner.

BIKE RENTALS ARE AVAILABLE on this ride! TrailSide Treasures bike rental shop, located at the base of the Boston Bridge (address shown above) at the trail access, offers coaster bikes for $10 per hour. Our gathering place will be the parking lot at the Boston Trail access (near TrailSide Treasures). Reservations are not necessary, but inquiries can be made to Ivan Domitrovic by calling or texting 865-278-8679 or email ivanxd1@yahoo.com.

TRAIL CHALLENGE RATING: Easy.

** NOTE: There will be more people in attendance than have RSVP'd on Meetup **
