Worm Farming Competition
Details
Do you want to try a new, exciting activity? Well, Worm Farming is for you! We will meet at 6:30 PM at Point State Park underneath the overpass. There we will provide a large tub of moist dirt containing 100 large earthworms. Each contestant will take their turn trying to pull as many worms out of the tub as they can in only 5 minutes. Sounds easy? Well, it isn’t, because you have to do it with your bare feet. Referees will be present to set the time and do the count. The contestant with the
highest worm harvest will win a prize. Any ties will be resolved by a rematch. Afterwards, we’ll all go out for a delicious spaghetti dinner. Yum!
Sign up in advance so you won’t need to worm your way in at the last minute. Just call or text Mike at 412-518-8337, and type or say, “Fools of April Worm Farming.” He’ll get the message (even if you don’t).
