Join us Sunday, April 26th as we test the wonderful spring air on our first biking event of 2026! We’ll do a fairly easy westbound stretch of the Panhandle Trail. We’ll start at the trail’s origin in Carnegie/Collier, at the small settlement town of Walker’s Mill, and head west along the tranquil, mostly rural route toward Sturgeon, and then head back to Walker’s Mill. The round trip shouldn’t exceed 12 miles. The path is crushed gravel similar to most rails-to trails surfaces we’re accustomed to. The grade is relatively level, and enjoyable! A small parking area is available at the Walker’s Mill trailhead.

NOTE: Since the Panhandle Trail does not offer bike rentals, this event will be a B.Y.O.B (Bring your own bike!).
After our ride, we will visit a local Collier or Carnegie dining spot (to be decided) to discuss our adventure. No reservations are necessary for this bike ride. However, questions can be directed to Ivan by calling or texting 865-278-8679 (mobile), 412-244-1067 (home) or email ivanxd1@yahoo.com.

** NOTE: There will be more people in attendance than have RSVP'd on Meetup **
