This month, we will travel to a local Byzantine Catholic Church for Mass. The Byzantine Rite of the Catholic Church is most common in Eastern Europe, whereas the Roman Rite is from Western Europe. Both rites are under the Pope, and Catholics are free to go to either service. Masses at a Byzantine church are very spiritual, with a lot of singing. This is a great opportunity to experience a Byzantine Rite Mass.

Please meet Joe and the rest of our group in front of the church 15 minutes before Mass so we can sit together. After Mass, we will go to a local restaurant for dinner: Jabby Joe’s, only a 5 minute drive from the church. RSVP for the dinner to Joe Mosko at 412-587-1767 by May 11th.
