Memorial Day Weekend Biking Event

Join us for our Memorial Day weekend biking outing as we return to one of our Club favorites: The Yough River Trail from Boston to Sutersville! This ten-mile local segment of the Great Allegheny Passage will take us from the Boston Bridge to Sutersville and back, completing an almost 20-mile round trip along the Youghiogheny’s meandering path. Enjoy the now familiar backyard views of idyllic riverbank settlements while taking in the aroma of Memorial Day weekend barbecues. Naturally, we will stop for ice cream treats at our turnaround point, The Big Twist ice cream parlor at Sutersville, before heading back toward Boston. After the ride, we will discuss our adventure over a leisurely dinner at a local dining spot. Our gathering place will be the parking area at the Boston Trail access directly under the bridge, near Little Boston Inn. The trail is all level and the Trail challenge rating is EASY.
