Walk & Farmers’ Market

It’s good to keep active, and Farmers’ Markets are fun to experience. Since the Bethel Park Farmers’ Market is in South Park, let’s combine two activities. We will plan to meet at 5 PM in the Farmers’ Market parking lot, located between the Ice-Skating Rink and the Flora Park Garden Center. For GPS use, the address of the Flora Park Garden Center is provided above. Plan to park closer to the Ice Rink so it is easier for us to locate each other. We will start our walk promptly at 5:15 PM. We cannot wait for late participants, because we must get back to enjoy the market and dinner together. So please plan to arrive early. We’ll start from the Farmers’ Market parking lot crosswalk and walk 1¼ miles into the park, turn around and come back for a total distance of 2½ miles. Then we’ll visit the Farmers’ Market vendor tents, shop for local items and purchase food from food trucks to enjoy a meal of our choice together. Limited seating is provided at the Market but plan to bring a folding chair in case we need it.

THESE EVENTS ARE WEATHER DEPENDENT. If it is raining during the time of the event, the event will be canceled. Looking forward to seeing you there.
