“Causality is very important for the next steps of progress of machine learning.” - Yoshua Bengio

Decision-makers across the world are finding a more complex, dynamic, landscape to understand when taking action. Data scientists see a world harder to predict that makes using correlation-based machine learning approaches less reliable and ultimately less trustworthy. Causal AI enables the understanding of the causal relationships all around us, and uses that understanding to make more confident and effective decisions across the organisation.

In this talk, Steven Kleinegesse and Hinde Taleb will lay out the current causal AI landscape and the pioneering work that the team at causaLens’ has completed to put causal AI into the hands of data and business leaders addressing questions and challenges that will shape the future. After the talk we’ll explore how we might solve the trust gap between data and business partners, ensuring that they get the most from their insights.
