Free Meditation and Mindfulness Sessions

Details

Cause Corp is delighted to introduce a free and unique 5 online weekly sessions of meditation and mindfulness. It’s hosted by Sweta Agarwal, Melbourne based and currently studying Advanced Certificate in Guiding and Teaching Meditation Course from the institute of Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness (ACMM). Students of ACMM are encouraged to make community offerings of basic, fun-filled and relaxing meditation and mindfulness sessions.

About the event:

Take a stress-reduction break wherever you are. Simply, zoom in for an hour each week to enjoy and relax in a group meditation session. These are spontaneous fully guided meditation sessions and conducted in a compassionate manner. No previous experience or knowledge of meditation or mindfulness required. People from all walks of life, culture, practices, traditions are very warmly welcome. We will practice the following techniques in a cosy and intimate environment of a small group:

  • Drawing Meditation
  • Dancing Meditation
  • Sound Meditation
  • Chanting or Mantra Meditation
  • Inquiry Meditation

These 5 weekly meditation and mindfulness sessions will be run under the guidance and structure as provided by ACMM. https://www.meditationandmindfulness.com.au/.

Each weekly session will require about an hour, consisting of a brief introduction of meditation technique + 30 minutes of guided meditation and group sharing at the end. Some of the sessions will be audio recorded along with the group sharing and are sent to an ACMM coach for review and assessment purposes.
The event can host only up to 6 participants. All attendees need to go through a simple paperwork process to ensure compliance with ACMM’s requirements. The attendance is required for all 5 weeks, excluding any specific unavoidable reasons.

Things you will need before the Zoom call:

  • Comfortable and Breathable Clothing
  • An open and curious heart and mind
  • Internet connectivity for zoom video call
  • Weekly 1 hour of private time and space
  • A warm blanket or a cushion or your work chair, or your couch or your bed! You can meditate from any place you like

Take Home Gift:

“Are we creating conditions conducive to all life on Planet Earth? When the answer is yes, then the world is our oyster.” – Anonymous. We look forward to receiving you in the comfort, space and restfulness of your own inner world. Together, we will cultivate a daily 5 minutes of good habit of self-loving kindness and self-connection.
