Once a month, when the sun goes down, the dogs come out to play!
Bark After Dark is our after-hours series where art, dogs, and community come together for a lively, themed evening. Enjoy music, special activities, and playful surprises designed for both people and pups—all set against the backdrop of the Museum’s one-of-a-kind collection. Each month brings a fresh twist, so no two nights are the same. It’s where culture and canine companionship collide—for the coolest night in town.
But, get your tickets early! These events typically sell out and we cannot guarantee there will be space the day of the event.
All attendees will be required to sign a waiver before entry.
Special for August 14: Drawing Dogs 101
Inspired by our current special exhibition, Dog Days of Summer: Member Art Contest! Bring your pup along as your muse and learn how to draw dog features. Artist/educator Jessica Ressler will guide you through the basics of depicting dog facial features and characteristics. Pencils and paper will be provided; your dogs will be our subjects!
