Get ready to witness history as CAVALLINO: Premier Hobby Horse Club invites you to Washington's first ever hobby horse championships, and the United States' first ever two-day hobby horse event!

This is a monumental occasion for the sport of hobby horsing, and we're excited for our members to experience it firsthand.

Whether you're a seasoned hobby horse enthusiast, curious about the athleticism involved, or just looking for a truly unique and fun spectacle, this event is a fantastic opportunity to see competitive hobby horsing in action and support its growth!

Meet Lauren, the Visionary Behind the Event:

This groundbreaking championship is spearheaded by Lauren, a dedicated hobby horse athlete and creator.

Lauren initially found hobby horsing in 2020, and quickly turned her passion into a thriving shop, opening in October 2023 and having made over 30 hobby horses! She's not just an organizer; she's a formidable competitor, placing 2nd in barrel racing and 3rd in hunters at USHHC, and even ran her first hobby horse competition in Washington in October 2024.

Lauren is thrilled to host this first two-day competition in WA and aims to compete more herself in 2025!

What to Expect:

This championship will showcase various disciplines of hobby horsing. Within the official event packet, you'll find comprehensive information on specific classes, their rules, what each class entails, and details on vendoring. This is a chance to see various disciplines of hobby horsing in action, from show jumping and cross country to horsemanship and trail.

Please note that all times are approximated, and the event schedule is very likely to be ahead or behind schedule. The order of classes may also be changed around.

Day 1:

8:30 AM: Volunteers & Vendor set up
9:00 AM: Gates open to general public, Event check-in begins; Set-up for self-sewn hobby horse class begins
9:30 AM: Opening Ceremony
9:45 AM: Course walks open
10:00 AM: Classes begin (Show jumping 1.5 feet, lower level dressage & barrel racing begin)
2:30 PM: Horsemanship begins
3:30 PM: Puissance begins
4:00 PM: Wrap up!
Day 2:

8:30 AM: Volunteers & Vendor set up
9:00 AM: Gates open to general public, Event check-in begins
9:30 AM: Opening Ceremony
9:45 AM: Course walks open
10:00 AM: Classes begin (Cross country & hunters 2.5 feet begin)
11:30 AM: 2 foot hunters begin
12:30 PM: Lunch break
1:00 PM: Trail & hunters 2 feet begins
2:30 PM: Random draw hunters

We will plan to arrive at 9:00 AM on Day 1, and 9:30 AM on Day 2 if attending both for those who wish to attend as a group.
