A peaceful and quiet setting, gently rolling hills, forests of ancient giant Saguaros, 12' hi outcropping of solid white quartz, the ultra rare 'Michelin Man' segmented saguaro, wonderland of glittering rocks, and pristine panoramic views in all directions.
🚘From I-17, (N Phoenix), exit AZ-74 (Carefree Hwy) and head east. Continue 7 miles to 32nd St (Cave Creek Regional Park's brown sign on your right) . Turn left/north onto 32nd and drive 1.5M to the park's entrance (open at 5a). pay your 7 bucks and proceed about 0.8M and turn left onto Tonalite Dr ('Hiking Trails' sign on your right) and continue to the large paved 'Go John' parking lot on your left.
We'll start walking at 510 sharp.
If you late....no worries... you can easily catch up as we'll be walking at a leisurely pace. We'll start strolling via GO John's east trail. Not(!!) the one going up/north (by the big sign) to the ridge.
