Bookshop Day Coffee Morning

Bookshop Day is an annual, one day celebration of all high street bookshops.
We are very lucky in Caversham to have the wonderful Fourbears Books. Alex is so very supportive of the community in general and us at Caversham Writers in particular.
So I thought we as a group should show some support in return and this special event is to that end.

Here's the plan:

• We'll gather at Spill Bar in St Martin's Precinct in Caversham for coffee and a chat.
• Then we troop round to Fourbears and buy a book! I'm sure all of you will be buying a book at some point between now and Christmas, either for yourself or family/friends, so why not get it now?
• Take a photo of your purchase and post to all your socials, tagging @booksaremybag and #BookshopDay (and @fourbearsbooks)

If you're not sure what book to buy, get a book token instead, or chat with Alex and his team for a recommendation.

If you're too far from Caversham to join us in person, visit your local bookshop wherever you are and join in by posting your book purchases on social media tagging @booksaremybag and #BookshopDay
