Holiday Event at Lusscroft Farm
Details
Embrace the holiday spirit at the annual Holiday Benefit on Saturday, November 29th, from 10AM to 4PM at Lusscroft Farm, 50 Neilson Road. Experience a magical day filled with festivities and charm. Explore three beautifully decorated buildings on the historic farm: the Manor House, the Christmas Cottage, and the Carriage House.
Step into the Manor House, once the home of James Turner in the early 1900s, where you'll find historic displays, an awe-inspiring three-story spiral staircase, and heartwarming holiday music performed by the talented Skylands Dulcimer String Band beside a cozy fireplace.
Don't miss the Christmas Cottage, formerly the Manager's Dwelling, a delightful 19th-century farmhouse brimming with holiday-themed gifts and decorations, all for sale and beautifully arranged, ready for you to take home! Plus, be sure to visit the Cottage Kitchen, where the much-anticipated Lusscroft Bake Sale will be offering an irresistible selection of homemade treats.
The Carriage House will showcase a variety of unique vendors and skilled crafters, making it the perfect stop to check off items on your Christmas list early this year!
For those feeling hungry, the All American Hot Dog Truck will be on-site, offering a delicious menu that includes hamburgers, chicken tenders, veggie spring rolls, beef empanadas, fries, and, of course, classic hot dogs!
There is a $5 per adult (over 18) admission to the Manor House only; the other buildings are free admission. By attending this event, you'll be supporting essential restoration projects at historic Lusscroft, part of High Point State Park. This delightful experience is presented by the Heritage and Agriculture Association, Inc., in cooperation with the NJ DEP/Division of Parks and Forestry. Join us for a day of fun and community spirit that you won't want to miss! Read more about Lusscroft at lusscroft.org
