Join us for a discussion with African People's Solidarity Committee Chair Penny Hess and African People's Solidarity Committee Secretary General Alison Hoehne followed by an interview with special guest, African National Women’s Organization President Yejide Orunmila.

In the Burning Spear article, "African Internationalism, not feminism, is the theory of the African woman", African Internationalist ideology, developed by Chairman Omali Yeshitela, shows that there is no such thing as "women in general" since you have women of the oppressor nation and women of the oppressed nation, the former living at the expense of the latter.
The feminist movement emerged in the form of white women in a struggle to get a piece of the stolen loot from Africa while they articulated it as a “fight for their freedom and to have the same rights as (white) men.”
*This event will take place on Zoom & in-person at the Uhuru Solidarity Center, 2654 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, MO 63118.*
