Mary and Richard are sorry to announce that they are planning to give another microservices talk. They know that this can be annoying; they have been there. The thing is microservices can be a powerful tool for change as we deliver value to our customers. In this talk, we are not going to focus on how to build a team or try to sell you a suite of products (beyond talking in a context of using Spring). We are going to focus on topics of universal importance regarding microservices. They intend for you to leave with some thoughts about how to chip away at monoliths, how to form our microservices, and how to reliably deploy at scale. Don’t worry. You are not expected to be an expert prior to this talk. If you are an expert, they hope to corrupt you into their way of thinking.
