Vente a Spanish Meetup listo para hablar completamente en español sobre todo lo relacionado con la isla fantástica de Puerto Rico. Para esta noche especial vamos a sumergirnos en la música (¡Y qué música!), la gente (más buena…), y la comida (para chuparse los dedos), todo relacionado con Puerto Rico.
El siempre servicial dueño del restaurante Diego abrirá las puertas exclusivamente para nosotros y servirá un menú fijo inspirado por la riqueza de la cultura boricua. Por el precio bajísimo de $13.64 servirán arroz con lechón y habichuelas negras, plátanos dulces fritos, Alcapurrias, ensalada, yuca frita y jugo natural o café con leche. ¡Qué fiesta!
La única tarea tendrás que hacer es llevar tres cosas que sabes o has aprendido sobre Puerto Rico, una actitud fantástica y unas caderas que menean bien en caso de que pongamos música de salsa.

It’s an island…it’s a country…it’s…Puerto Rico!
Come to Spanish Meetup ready to speak completamente en español about everything related to the wonderful island of Puerto Rico. For this one special night we are going to submerge ourselves in the music (and what music!), the people (can you say “hot”?) and the food (finger-lickin’ good) all related to Puerto Rico.
The always-accommodating owner of the restaurant Diego will open his doors exclusively for us, serving a set menu inspired by the richness of Puerto Rican culture. For the mere price of $13.64 he will be serving Arroz con Lechón y Habichuelas Negras (rice with pork and black beans); sweet, fried plantains; Alcapurrias (plantain flour cubes filled with beef); salad; fried yucca and fresh jugo or coffee with milk. Quite the feast!
The only homework you have is to bring three things you know/have learned about Puerto Rico, an awesome attitude and some swivel-hips in case we play some salsa.
