Reading on Sat 28th June 2025

This will be my first event as co-organiser and I thought we could take a trip to Reading (Double Barrelled Taproom, Phantom (my all time favourite, difficult to prize me away), then the Nags Head and Siren taproom (5 min stagger back to station)!

As I'll be coming from Oxford Gemma will meet you at 12:30 pm at London Paddington station to take the train to Reading. Using group saver tickets, groups of three to nine adults can get 1/3 off off-peak tickets when travelling together (the group must travel together at all times on outward and return journeys). Tickets will be c.£19 return instead of £28.

General timings are:
Double Barrelled 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Phantom 4:00 - 6:00 pm
Nags Head 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Siren taproom 8:00 - 9:30 pm

We'll meet at Reading Station at 1:30 pm, get to Double Barrelled for 2:00 pm (14 min bus plus 8 min walk), 4:00 pm Phantom till 6:00 pm (another bus 9 min then 6 min walk), after that everything is walkable, 6:30 - 7:30 pm Nags Head, finishing at Siren around 9:30 pm (5 mins from station).
