Here you can get acquainted with other members of our group and discuss plans for upcoming events. (Please note that our Discord Chat is only for members of our extended Board Game group. My hope is to bring a small interest group together for a common cause - to enjoy board games, deck-building games, roll playing games, etc. I (Chahna) have at least 150 different games and expansions to contribute and will host game nights regularly - probably at least 1-2 per week, sometimes maybe more. Many other members of the group will also have their own collections. So, whether you have your own collection, or you just want to join in and play ours, you're welcome!
Please consider joining me as a co-organizer to help support the group, both financially and by helping to keep plenty of activities on the schedule. It costs $179 per 6 months to maintain a MeetUp group, so I'm really hoping to get a lot of interest and participation in order to make it worth the cost. (5 organizers would mean payments of only $36 per person per 6 months, which is much more agreeable than one person carrying the entire amount) I want to keep the group free for the general membership, so your contribution will be very helpful. Follow the incredible story of The Princess Bride through six chapters and work together to keep the plot on course despite Shrieking Eels, kissing, and constant interruptions! Will the forces of evil — or true "wove" — prevail?
In The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game, players work together to advance the plot and tell all six chapters despite interruptions from a sick grandson. Each chapter is represented by a new board within a "book" of game boards. Instead of each player controlling a single character, players cooperate to complete challenges by moving characters and discarding story cards from their hand.
Each chapter has a series of challenges that require characters to be in specific locations and specific story cards to be discarded from a player's hand. All challenges must be completed before players can advance to the next chapter. A chapter can be interrupted by different story-based conditions or by the grandson. Players have one more chance to complete the story after an interruption, or they lose the game. Special story cards earned as a reward for completing challenges as well as miracle tokens give players more options and help them along the way.
The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game includes paintable miniatures for Westley, Princess Buttercup, Prince Humperdinck, Count Rugen, Vizzini, Inigo Montoya, and Fezzik.

On an uninhabited island in uncharted seas, explorers have found traces of a great civilization. Now you will lead an expedition to explore the island, find lost artifacts, and face fearsome guardians, all in a quest to learn the island's secrets.
Lost Ruins of Arnak combines deck-building and worker placement in a game of exploration, resource management, and discovery. In addition to traditional deck-builder effects, cards can also be used to place workers, and new worker actions become available as players explore the island. Some of these actions require resources instead of workers, so building a solid resource base will be essential. You are limited to only one action per turn, so make your choice carefully... what action will benefit you most now? And what can you afford to do later... assuming someone else doesn't take the action first!?
Decks are small, and randomness in the game is heavily mitigated by the wealth of tactical decisions offered on the game board. With a variety of worker actions, artifacts, and equipment cards, the set-up for each game will be unique, encouraging players to explore new strategies to meet the challenge.

Unlock! is a series of escape adventures for up to six players. With one hour on the clock, players work through a deck of sixty cards as a team, searching for clues, combining objects, and solving puzzles. The free Unlock! companion app runs the timer while also providing clues, offering hints, and confirming successes. Once the team has reached a solution and entered the correct code into the app, they will escape and win the game!
