What we’re about
Please join our Discord chat by the same name, "Cheyenne Board Game Community" here: https://discord.gg/HVFu7hGT2x. Here you can get acquainted with other members of our group and discuss plans for upcoming events. (Please note that our Discord Chat is only for members of our extended Board Game group. If your Discord user name is different than your MeetUp user name, you will have 24 hours to identify yourself in chat before you will be removed. You may join again, but you must identify yourself.)
My hope is to bring a small interest group together for a common cause - to enjoy board games, deck-building games, roll playing games, etc. I (Chahna) have at least 150 different games and expansions to contribute and will host game nights regularly - probably at least 1-2 per week, sometimes maybe more. Many other members of the group will also have their own collections. So, whether you have your own collection, or you just want to join in and play ours, you're welcome!
Please consider joining me as a co-organizer to help support the group, both financially and by helping to keep plenty of activities on the schedule. It costs $179 per 6 months to maintain a MeetUp group, so I'm really hoping to get a lot of interest and participation in order to make it worth the cost. (5 organizers would mean payments of only $36 per person per 6 months, which is much more agreeable than one person carrying the entire amount) I want to keep the group free for the general membership, so your contribution will be very helpful. Thanks!
PLEASE READ OUR GROUP RULES IN THE DISCUSSION AREA.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Hero Quest campaign (closed)TBA, Cheyenne, WY, Cheyenne, WY
This event is closed to new players. Please join our Discord chat to be notified when new campaigns of all types are being planned and organized.
HeroQuest is Milton Bradley's approach to a Dungeons & Dragons-style adventure game. One player acts as game master, revealing the maze-like dungeon piecemeal as the players wander. Up to four other players take on a character (wizard, elf, dwarf, or barbarian) and venture forth into dungeons on fantasy quests. Plastic miniatures and 3-D furniture make this game very approachable. Expansions were also released for this system.

221B Baker Street is the London address of the world's most celebrated fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his dedicated companion, Dr. Watson. In this game you start at 221B and travel through the streets and alleys of London picking up clues and attempting to solve the most intriguing cases Holmes and Watson have ever faced.
Each player assumes the role of Holmes and matches wits with the other players to determine who possesses the most skillful powers of deduction. Each case is represented by a card that features a crime told in story form, a selection of probable suspects and a list of locations involved in that crime. Clues are hidden throughout London, one in each of fourteen locations. Players must collect clues from each location, noting them down on their checklists as they attempt to find the answers to the questions listed on the case card.
Naturally, the crime scene will often contain vital clues, and a prudent detective always checks with the neighbors. Still, you can learn something vital almost anywhere in town. The first player to figure out the correct answers to a particular mystery or crime, return to 221B and announce the solution, is the winner.
The original 221B Baker Street Board game was created and copyrighted by American writer Jay Moriarty (dba Antler Productions) in 1975. The Brazilian version of this game is known as Scotland Yard, not to be confused with the 1983 Spiel des Jahres winner also called Scotland Yard.
