CBMC Fort Lauderdale Lunch-Walter T. Shaw-Author/TV-Film Producer

Walter T. Shaw, an American film producer and author, has
created several works over the years that share the story of
his father, Walter L. Shaw, inventor of 39 innovative patents
that include, the speaker phone, conference call, call
forwarding and many other in the technology field. One
documentary that Shaw Jr. created to promote his mission
for seeking justice regarding his father whose patents were
claimed by Bell Telephone is called Genius on Hold which
opened at CANNES Film Festival in France and can be
found on IMDB https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1806910/
debuted at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and
Soho International Film Festivals that earned award winning
recognition.

In addition to Genius on Hold, he is also Producer for a
movie which is in the works called The Unknowns: Talent is
Color Blind. Shaw is also an author of, A License to Steal,
in which sold over 50,000 copies in the first month, which
was a launch pad to other opportunities.

Aside from creating motion pictures, Shaw Jr. fondness in the film industry also prompted a charity movement called “Save America’s Cinemas” which set the media hype on the change over to digital in
which many smaller town theaters were having difficulty keep up with.

Shaw also produced a reality pilot called “Pawnfellas” in which was a star studded cast that was the talk of South Florida and
Hollywood.

Shaw, now, is producing an upcoming off-Broadway show based on the book, “The Bomb Heard Around the World” www.TheBombHeardAroundTheWorld.com) written by Gregory Marquette and foreword by US Congressman Charlie Crist, the one who solved the murder.

All the while producing motion picture films, Broadway shows, writing books, and fighting for justice for his father.
