Trail Ridge Nature Ride

Yes, we plan to meet at 6:30 am with departure at 6:40 am from the Circle K, 34 CENTENNIAL BLVD, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 just south of E 470 off of Broadway and across from the Village Inn. Fuel and snacks are available at Circle K. Our plan is to access E 470 West via Broadway, then travel north on 6 West/C93 to the Foothills Hwy, then take 36 with a brief stop to top off fuel at the Circle K in Lyons. Then we will continue on 36 to the RMNP entrance where an entrance fee or national park pass will be required to enter. No timed entrance pass will be required as we plan to enter the park prior to 9 am.

Then we plan to enjoy the beautiful sites in Rocky Mountain National Park with a relaxed pace up to the summit visitors center and then down the western side with a turn around prior to the exit and return back through the park enjoying the views from the opposite vantage points. We can enjoy lunch at Smoking Dave's BBQ in Estes or in Lyons depending on parking availability. Return home trip can be determined over lunch. Please be prepared with layers and water as desired.
