This is our annual ride of close-in canyons-we will be going up and down some of the canyons that are more or less right in our back yards.
While the title may say Canyon Blaster, it is actually a fairly sedate ride overall-though we will see a lot of twisty roads.
We will meet-up at the Maverik just a block from Avalanche Harley-Davidson (a sponsor, https://www.avalancheharley.com) in Golden. You can gas up and get any needed snacks/sodas/water/etc, before we head out.

We will have our pre-ride meeting at 9:00 am with KSU at 9:10 am.
We will skirt the edge of Golden in order to get to Clear Creek Canyon and head up through Blackhawk, then we will ride back down Golden Gate Canyon. Our first break will be at the 7-11 just to the north of the Golden Gate Canyon exit. Then we will head over and ride up Coal Creek Canyon and back down via Boulder Canyon. We may make a stop in Nederland, depending on group needs.
Our lunch stop will be in Boulder, most likely at 5 Guy's Burgers (https://restaurants.fiveguys.com/1855-29th-street) in Boulder. We will make another gas stop as we head north through Boulder, before we turn to ride back up Left Hand Canyon. We will finish the canyon portion of the day by riding back down St. Vrain Canyon into Lyons. We will stop again in Lyons, and then head back to Boulder for our last stop. No surprise, the final stop will be at Glacier (https://www.glaciericecream.com/) for ice cream.
This ride has traditionally had some weather issues, but is easy to modify if the weather makes us change things-so be prepared for whatever may actually end up happening.
