Deckers/Woodland Park Fun Ride

Check the weather and the ride on the calendar before showing up - this is Colorado!

We will meet-up at the Circle K one block south of E 470 on South Broadway. You can gas up and get any needed coffee/snacks/sodas/water/etc., before we head out.

We will have our pre-ride meeting at 9:00 am with KSU at 9:10 am.
New route will be more interesting with lots of curves and beautiful nature. We will leave Circle K and go west on E 470 to Wadsworth Blvd. and turn south and then go west on Deer Creek Canyon Rd. We will enjoy a leisurely pace as work our way through beautiful Deer Creek Canyon watching for wildlife and bicycles as we wind our way up the canyon and then down to Foxton along the river. We may enjoy a stretch break at Deckers and proceed through Reynolds Park and towards Woodland Park on Highway 24. Lunch will be at Hungry Bear in Woodland Park or if that venue has a long wait time we can ride on into Colorado Springs and have lunch at Rudy's BBQ; after lunch we have options for the return trip. We can drive up through the Garden of the God's and then return via I-25 north to 105 with an Ice Cream stop in Palmer Lake. Or depending upon the weather and participants interest we can return after lunch up 1-25 as far as Interquest Parkway then on to 83 and heading north up towards Parker.
