Ever dream about building your own quadcopter? How about controlling it via JavaScript? Well, this is the talk for you. Joshua and Tasveer have been fiddling with JavaScript and hardware access. They'll be speaking on how they've managed to get JavaScript to power a quadcopter and the challenges along the way.
Due to the low turn-out rates and last minute cancellations (seriously, we had cancellations up to 6:55pm for the last event). We will be experimenting with a small $5 fee for registration that will go towards some food and drinks. Let me absolutely clear here, you will likely see my personal name and email when going through PayPal. Once we figure out whether this new method of ensuring people who sign-up, come out to the event, an actual HTML Toronto PayPal account will be setup and used.
We are also going to be holding another code-along in partnership with DevTO and Toronto Javascript. The registration page for that is located here:

I will be sending out more updates shortly about the contest we are having within it, the speakers that will be there and what to expect.
Also, I am looking for feedback on whether we would like to have a registration based newsletter for the group for announcements. This would be similar to DevTO’s where the events would be announced on them first as well as sponsorship thanks, discount codes for upcoming events, resources for developers and community spotlights of local developers’ works.
