“Navigating the Interview” with Peg Wahrman, Career Consultant & Interview Coach

Details
Job interviews are tough for most people, and it can feel especially daunting to go on an interview after you’ve taken a break from the workforce. Interviewing is a competitive game, and even little things can make a big difference when you're trying to get hired. If you haven't taken the time to dress appropriately or if you say the "wrong" thing, it could be over before it starts.
It's important to be the candidate who makes the best impression, rather than the person who blows the interview and doesn't get a shot at the job. Take the time to prepare so you can make the best possible impression at every job interview you go on.
Join Peg Wahrman as she presents a powerful and though-provoking presentation that walks you through the entire interview process from start to finish. From the minuet you walk in the door, how to dress and what to bring to the interview, to how to relax and be prepared.
She will go over the different types of interview questions and how to practice and be prepared for them, and how to practice your answers. You also have to have questions for your interviewer, we will go over this. Lastly don't forget that thank you note! We will talk about what it should say and how to construct it. After the presentation we will practice questions and do mock interviewing.
Attend this presentation and you will learn:
• General Interview questions
• The Star method for answering Behavioral Interview questions
• Potential questions to ask employers during interview
• Important reminders for a successful Interview
