The 2020 COVID pandemic opened the eyes of today’s established workforce. Data from the U.S. Census Bureau's “Current Population Survey,” shows that this pandemic induced recession is unlike any recession in recent decades.
This is the first time in 50 years that older adults are experiencing higher unemployment than mid-career workers.
Boomers and Generation X are in a unique position, and not necessarily by choice, where considering a career change may be the best option to find gainful employment.
In the Established Professional’s Guide to a Change of Careers Chris will share data, strategies and guidance to determine if a career change is a reasonable pathway towards opportunity.
Attend this workshop and you will learn how:
· Evaluating the need versus the desire to change your career
· Preparing for the sacrifices and challenges
· Realizing the pros
· Knowing where and how to start
· Identifying transferrable skills
· Evaluating the market
