Commitment. It's almost become a nasty word. Nobody seems to want to be committed to anything. Commitment implies that we are willing to devote our time and energy, and resources as needed, to accomplish something. It requires a decision on our part and the willingness to follow through on the decision.

Something has happened to commitment today. It seems like the most ardent commitment these days is a commitment to not be committed to anything. We have decided there is no real right and wrong. Therefore, we get to pick and choose what we do at any moment, and since there is no right or wrong, we are free to be arbitrary and fickle in our decisions.

Someone with only one foot in the door is likely reticent to make plans too far into the future. Small examples might include not saying yes to a wedding three months away or avoiding making holiday plans.

You will learn about:
*The definition of commitment
*Is commitment good or bad?
*What has changed in the last decades?
*How to recognize if you are afraid of commitment
*Overcoming fear of commitment

We discuss, share experiences, love and support.

I look forward to connecting with you!❤️
