Getty Center W/ Art Activity & Museum visit/tour

What makes this event different from meetup groups that visit to Getty Center . . . is you don't have to take care of tickets. They have given us tix for 100 persons. The event is posted to a large Arts Meetup Group. So a lot of folks are already going. BUT . . . we do have some openings

Question: This all sounds like a lot of hoops to go thru. Why so many steps?
Answer: Because we only get so many slots. And we need to have a list of names at the gate. Hence a form.

They are very well aware we are coming and they are happy to have us attend. This is why they give us space and allow use of the gardens and premises.

The event will START at sharp at 10.
10AM. Our 10AM start point will be the Fran and Ray Stark Terrace. CLICK HERE FOR A MAP To be there by 10 you will NEED to be PARKED by 9:20AM.

Itinerary
9:20 to 10:00 Arrival
9:30 to 10:00 Meander and Stroll
10AM Meet at the Fran and Ray Stark Sculpture Garden
10 to 10:30 Mini-tour.
10:30 2nd Meet for later arrivals at Lower Terrace Sculpture Garden
10:30 to 11:15 or so Small Art Lesson
12:00 onwards . . . explore the museum with new friends.

Lunch can be at the Getty in the café with new friends . . . But the rain is coming in for the afternoon.

And yes, . . .the museum is fully aware we are coming and doing this. So it's not like we will get in trouble. There are other museum events on meetup. They are often not permitted or run "under the radar" and do not contact the museum. For us . . . the museum is fully aware and welcome us to attend and our event.
