June Monthly Meeting

Citizens Climate Lobby is committed to climate solutions. Our focus is on passage of the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (https://energyinnovationact.org/): a bi-partisan bill that will reduce emissions by 40% in 12 years, and 90% of 2015 emissions by 2050 through a steadily increasing price on CO2. It will do so without leaving anyone behind, through a monthly carbon dividend check payable to all individuals. We support the national organization by building political will in our congressional district to support this bill as the best first step in addressing the climate crisis.

Our organizing meetings are a place for us to get together and plan activities over the next couple of months. In a time of COVID19, this means virtual meetings and virtual outreach.
