What is the purpose of our existence?

Probably every one of us has been confronted with the question „Why was I actually born?” and „Does my life on Earth have a meaning”?

Some see the meaning of life in striving for enjoyment and fulfilling one’s wishes and satisfying one’s desires. Others find meaning in contributing to the lives of others and the greater good, i.e. wanting to be useful.

We could say, something is meaningful, when it has a purpose. But does everything in the world have a purpose?

The prevailing view of natural scientists is that the world, including human beings, came into existence by coincidence. In other words: without any special purpose or meaning. Isn’t this a rather hopeless worldview?

Searching for the meaning of life is also searching for our purpose in Creation and finding the answers to: “Where does the human spirit come from?”, “Why do we live on Earth” and “Where does the spirit go after passing from this world?”
