NOTE ABOUT CAMPSITES ON THE INCA TRAIL
Please note that we are not in control of the campsites that are issued from the Institute of National Culture. In general your campsite allocation is dependent on how early you book, or rather, how many permits are left. The first 250 spaces are generally given to Winay Wayna (3rd campsite) and thereafter we will have a longer walk to Machu Picchu on the last day. It could mean we do not make it for sunrise. Do not let this disappoint you as Machu Picchu is marvelous in itself! You also have to bring your original passport with you on the trek, with the same passport number you originally made your reservation with. Otherwise you will be unable to go on the trek. Photocopies are no longer acceptable. Full Passport Details of ALL Travelers, Full Name / Passport No / Nationality /Sex/ Date of Birth. This is a requirement of the INC and without these details no reservation can be made. [IMPORTANT: the names provided must be the same as shown on passport.] If you think you will be changing your Passport prior to the trek, please notify us, as it is imperative that you are carrying the same passport details that you provide us with for the trek!
