How to Take the Jeepney

How do you take a jeepney in Cebu?

Just using body language, and gestures, an experienced travel should have 0 issues. But what if you want to ask how much fare is? Or to stop at the next spot? Or to ask if someone would just scoot over a bit. If these 3 things interest you, this event is for you.

Plan:

1. We'll meet at the Bo's at Ayala Central Bloc in IT Park (not to be confused with Ayala Terraces)
2. We'll learn numbers 1 through 20.
3. We'll learn phrases like by doing role play with partners:
   Asa man dapit.... Where abouts is....
   Tag pila ni? How much is this?
   Pilay plete? How much is the fare?
4. After we feel we have enough practice, we'll head to a jeepney stop & take a jeepney to Ayala Terraces and back.

When: Saturday, 5 September, 2026 at 9 am
Where: Bo's at Ayala Central Bloc in IT Park
What: Learn how to take the Jeepney in Cebuano / Binisaya.

Bring coins! At least 30 pesos for a round trip of 1 km.
