Middle Fork of Taylor Creek - Kolob Canyon, UT

Details
A great hike up Taylor Creek, with about 12 water crossings. You can make the crossings without getting feet wet, however wet shoes are a possibility. This is a moderately difficult hike of 5 miles and 620' of elevation gain. It usually takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to complete. The trail is typically easy walking with a few water crossings. I will wait 5 minutes past departure time for late arrivals, you are welcome to catch up if we are already on the trail.
There is a fee for entering the park for each vehicle of $35. I'm happy to carpool from a meetup point in Cedar City if you want free entry for entering the park at the Kolob entrance, as I already buy the yearly pass. Just let me know in advance.
Max of 12 hikers due to park rules.
**** Back up Plan**** If the weather in the days prior to the hike have been very wet the trail can get excessively muddy. Also if the forecast for the day of the hike shows thunderstorm activity, I will change the hike. I will give at least 24 hours notice of cancellation due to weather or change in trails due to conditions. The back up will be Coal Creek up through cedar canyon. This is a paved trail along the creek and is an easy hike on flat ground. The trail start locations are only about 5 minutes apart. I will send out a message and change the meetup location if it becomes necessary.
