CEDAR- Environmental data collecting and visualization workshop

What is the research about?

CEDAR looks at how people can be involved in environmental data collection and its visualisation. This is important because being able to understand the data provides a great foundation for understanding our environment which can help people make more confident choices to reduce their environmental impact. Based on the results of this research, CEDAR will develop an app using augmented reality (AR) to allow users to contribute towards awareness of environmental issues.

What will you be doing?

On 11th March 2023, you will choose your sensor for collecting environmental data and reflect on how you think about the environment. You will then participate in fieldwork, where we will collect environmental data together.

On 18th March 2023, we will meet at the Greencoat Building reception (ADDRESS) in Camberwell and play with materials to visualize in your own way the data you collect.
