Welcome to The Launch Lab: Social Skills & Confidence for Teens
This group is designed for middle school and early high school students (ages 11–14) who want to build stronger social skills, confidence, and real-world communication abilities in a supportive small-group setting.
Middle school can be one of the most socially challenging seasons of life. Many students struggle with entering conversations, navigating friendships, managing social anxiety, or feeling confident in group environments. The Launch Lab was created to give students structured opportunities to practice these skills in real time.
Through guided discussions, interactive activities, and practical exercises, students will learn how to:
• Start and maintain conversations
• Navigate friendships and peer dynamics
• Build confidence in social situations
• Manage awkward or stressful interactions
• Develop emotional awareness and communication skills
This group is not therapy. It is a structured coaching and skill-building environment where students gain practical tools they can use in school, friendships, and everyday life.
Events may include small-group social skills workshops, guided discussion groups, confidence-building exercises, and interactive activities designed to help teens feel more comfortable and capable in social settings.
This group is hosted by Nicole Rolon-Caro, M.Ed., founder of Emerging Adulthood Consulting, who has over a decade of experience supporting adolescents, families, and neurodivergent young adults in developing social, emotional, and executive functioning skills.
If your child could benefit from structured support in building confidence and social connection, this group may be a great fit.
Located in the Celina / Frisco area. Parents are welcome to attend informational sessions to learn more about upcoming programs and events.
