Join us for a scenic guided walk along two of the Peak District’s most iconic edges. This circular hike combines dramatic gritstone cliffs, wide-open moorland, and far-reaching views across the Hope Valley and Ladybower Reservoir. It’s a rewarding walk with plenty of time to enjoy the landscape at a relaxed pace.

What to expect
This is an easy to moderate hike on well-used paths, with some steady uphill sections and uneven terrain typical of the Peak District. We’ll take regular breaks, enjoy the views, and walk as a group at a comfortable pace. No rushing and no pressure.

Planned agenda (approximate)
• Morning departure from Oxford
• Travel to the Peak District
• Guided circular hike covering Stanage Edge and Bamford Edge
• Breaks for rest, photos, and snacks
• Return journey to Oxford in the evening

What you’ll need to bring
• Comfortable walking boots or shoes with good grip
• Weather-appropriate clothing and layers
• Waterproof jacket
• Water and packed lunch / snacks
• Small backpack
• Hiking poles (highly recommended)
• Sun protection if the forecast is sunny

Return transport from Oxford is included. I’ll confirm the exact pickup location and time closer to the event, once final numbers are known.
