Men Who Care - Support Group

Meeting since 2001, we are celebrating our 23rd year of monthly meetings on the first Saturday of each month. The safe sacred space that has been created for men to express their authentic selves is a welcome environment for all of us who participate. The compassionate listening, honest sharing, reinforcement of SOM principles and genuine support for remembering the magnificent divine being we truly are, serving to attract from 8 to 14 men each month. We are men who practice or come from a Jewish, Catholic, Protestant or SOM background, and readily see our oneness as Spirit when the sessions begin.

We start at 8:30 a.m., which includes an opening treatment, and end at 10:30 a.m. with a closing circle treatment. Some men stay later to converse in small groups or one-on-one. The confidential discussions may begin with some suggested topic, but the group quickly moves into sharing very personal experiences of an emotional, physical, relational and spiritual nature. It is gratifying and inspiring to be in the presence of such courageous, caring men of all age groups who support each other so lovingly!
