Our Mission is Simple A No-Kill Shelter.- An Idea who’s Time Has Come

DAWG provides a safe and loving environment for dogs awaiting permanent adoption, and promotes their adoption through outreach programs in the Santa Barbara community. Most of the dogs in our care come from Santa Barbara county shelters. Our primary goal is to reduce the rate of euthanasia in the county shelters by providing the medical care and training many dogs need for a second chance

George Friedenthal is a versatile keyboardist/vocalist whose services have been much in demand in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties for many years. Among his current groups are Raw Silk, The Jazz Project, Ike Jenkins' Monday Madness Big Band, the Luis Munoz Band and others. He has also recorded and/or toured/performed with such national artists as Mary Wilson (of the Supremes), Kenny Loggins, Alan Parsons, Rosemary Butler, Jeffrey Osborne and many others, and appeared on the Tonight Show and NPR radio.
