Self Defense Class for LGBTQ+ Folx and Allies!

Learn self defense in a supportive environment with Center Bi Pan+ and Gender Queer group members and other LGTBTQ+ community members and allies!

No previous experience needed. Class cost is $20 each, payable on site (cash preferred, card accepted). Please update your Meetup RSVP if your plans change so we can keep track of how many will be there day-of!

The class will include presentations and discussions on self defense topics and hands-on practice of techniques. It will be structured for all fitness levels and will be modified for different ability levels. Wear comfortable clothes for exercising; class will be barefoot.

There are several Potomac Kempo locations in Alexandria so make sure you head to Huntington! This location is right across from the Huntington Metro stop and has free parking out front. After class, we’ll head next door to enjoy dinner at Bob and Edith’s Diner for anyone who is interested in joining!
