Let’s go to: October Poetry Slam, hosted by Últimas Palabras

Let’s support our friend & fellow bi Addy at her October Poetry Slam! It’s an open mic-style competition and you MUST purchase a ticket in advance via Eventbright or at the door to attend. Doors will open at 7, Show starts at 8pm.
If you want to perform original poetry, you MUST read the Eventbright page for all the rules and logistics (note that I’m attending only in support and I do not have any affiliation with organizing the slam). Check comments day-of for how to find me.

Warning (per the event): All ages will be admittable but a parent/ guardian is recommended for ages 16 and below. There may be adult themes to poems and while the host issues a content warning at the beginning, poets will not be expected to provide individual trigger/ content warnings.

INHERENT RISK AND LIABILITY: Organizers carefully plan events and check public sources for weather and safety. Common sense dictates that conditions may change and there is inherent risk associated with attendance. Organizers and the DC LGBTQ+ Community Center do not accept any liability for accidents/injuries or any other incidences that may occur in connection with the activities published herein or on linked sites.
