Center for Spiritual (Re) Emergence

The Center for Spiritual Emergence provides support and assistance to people experiencing "spiritual emergencies". Often misdiagnosed as schizophrenia, bi-polar illness or major depression, when accurately identified, are responsive to an entirely different strategy that supports the individual's innate healing intelligence. The Center was closed due to COVID and is re-merging from a period of deep reflection, integration and growth. This lecture will provide an overview of a range of issues for the "psychology of the future" including, discerning spiritual emergence/emergencies, strategies for successful integration and the role, mindfulness, holotropic breathwork, psychedelics and somatic therapies play in healing our deepest issues. This event will also serve as a time to reconnect and discuss the future of the Center and its sister program on the coast of NC. Dr. Brack Jefferys, founder of the Center and internationally known for his work in spiritual emergencies will be presenting this public lecture.
